Scottsdale International Film Festival 2012

The 12th Annual Scottsdale International Film Festival will present 38 films from around the world in a mix of genres during the five-day event. Featured guests include directors, producers, and an actress who will present their films and participate in audience discussions after the screening.

Opening Night Film
THE EYE OF THE STORM (Country: Australia) – From, “Elizabeth Hunter controls all in her life – society, her staff, her children; but the once great beauty will now determine her most defiant act as she chooses her time to die.” Director Fred Schespi will participate with the audience in a discussion after the film is screened.

Centerpiece Films
The three centerpiece films are advance screenings of QUARTET, SHADOW DANCER, and STRUCK BY LIGHTNING.

Closing Night Films
THE SESSIONS (Country: USA) – From, “A man in an iron lung who wishes to lose his virginity contacts a professional sex surrogate with the help of his therapist and priest.” Starring John Hawkes, Helen Hunt, and William H. Macy.
