15 Things to Do With LEGOS

My husband took our four year-old son to LEGO Kids Fest last weekend. If you missed it, the event was held at the University of Phoenix Stadium and featured over three acres of LEGO displays and hands-on activities, including The Big Brick Pile. Our son laid down in it and buried himself with LEGOS. If he had a bucket list, there’s one item he could cross off.

If your child is a LEGO enthusiast, you may have a stockpile of colorful, interlocking bricks your child could bury themselves with too. Here is a list of 15 fun, creative things to do with all those LEGOS.

Things to do with Legos

1.  Play this game. It’s like Pictionary with LEGOS.

2.  Have a LEGO themed summer day camp.

3.  Host a LEGO party. More ideas here.

4.  Get construction inspiration at Build Together. Search for ideas by theme, age, and time needed.

5.  Find out what you can build with the sets and loose parts you already have at Rebrickable.

6.  Use LEGO minifigs for writing prompts.

7.  Create a stop motion video.

8.  Use LEGOS to teach math concepts.

9.  Use spare parts to make these cute LEGO Valentines.

10.  Make LEGO Christmas tree ornaments.

11.  Organize your LEGOS with a DIY storage container.

12.  Create LEGO jewelry.

13.  Make a LEGO photo frame.

14.  Put together a LEGO grab bag activity game.

15.  Make a LEGO travel play set, perfect for restaurants and doctor’s offices.

Bonus: Let your child dress-up this Halloween as their favorite toy with this super simple LEGO costume using only spray paint and a cardboard box.
