“Festivus for the rest of us!” That was the slogan of Frank Costanza’s made-up holiday on an unforgettable Seinfeld episode. George might be ashamed of his family’s wacky tradition but you’ll enjoy celebrating this alternative holiday in Downtown Phoenix at the fourth annual Phoestivus 2013. It will feature the World’s Largest Phoestivus Pole, Feats of Strength, Airing of the Grievances, and much more.
Come hungry because there will be lots of delicious food and a beer garden. Also, shop at any of the 100+ fabulous vendor booths for unique gifts for everyone on your Christmas list… unless you’ll be making a phony donation in their name to The Human Fund. Proceeds from the event benefit the Phoenix Public Market. You can check out some of the items for sale on Tumblr and Instagram.
I’m excited to go to Phoestivus 2013. I’m telling my husband we should bicker like Frank and Estelle Costanza the whole time, just to get in the true spirit of Festivus.
